Richard White was born in Bronx NY. He was introduced to music at a young age, but the trombone was the instrument that took hold in his life. He attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High school of music and Performing Arts. There he fell in love with playing many forms of music, learning under many great music teachers. Bob Stewart and Kelvin Bell were two prominent figures to help foster his drive to become great. He attended Hampton University where he received a B.S. in Music Engineering Technology. While at Hampton he joined Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a prestigious music fraternity whose members strive to make music better for the citizens of America. Richard has played a vast amount of genres over the years, from classical, merengue, jazz and gospel. He has also performed in many venues across the country.
