Nick Wood is an elementary music school teacher as well as a performing and recording artist and sound engineer. A native of Washington D.C., Nick has been playing jazz guitar and producing rap records since 2009. He moved to Philadelphia to study jazz performance and music education at Temple University from 2010 to 2016. Since then he has been recording music with artists in his home town and as Nicky Wood has released two solo projects and one collaborative one, including work with rapper Jean Grae and DC based singer Insomnea. He also teaches the youth with a guitar he's named Beatrice.
