Kelsey Fa'amausili graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa where she studied Creative Media and Theater. In Hawai'i, she worked in the film and television industry for production and film festival projects such as Hawai'i Five-O, Hawai’i International Film Festival, Hawai’i European Cinema, and the National Geographic WILD. She also participated in Asian Theater performances, Theater For Youth performances, and a Hawaiian Theater Production that was strictly in the Hawaiian language. After Hawai’i, she moved to New York City to delve deeper into her film and theater career. During her time in NYC she worked for multiple film festivals such as the NYC Latino Film Festival, DOC NYC Film Festival, and the Margaret Mead Film Festival. She also worked back-stage and front of house for many on- and off-Broadway venues such as Radio City Music Hall, The Shed NY and The Alchemical Theater. She was recently involved with the programming of the International Ocean Film Festival in San Francisco, CA. Her short films and collaborative film and theater projects have been showcased at the Hawai'i International Film Festival, Golden Door International Film Festival, Ithaca Pan Asian American Film Festival, Carroll College's Puppet Puppet Slam Slam, The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and more. As the Executive Producer and Director for FitzSili Productions, Kelsey is excited to be creating original work that brings awareness and understanding to underrepresented communities.
