Matthew Jernigan is a percussionist hailing from Fishkill, NY. Now residing in Philadelphia, his musical exploits entail arranging and playing for a local church and playing for a few jazz groups. When he is not performing he spends his time serving his community and teaching music to youth affected by violence in the city. Matthew finds that he is most excited for music when it is reaching those who seek to receive something from it.
